EXPERIENCE ASANTEMAN HISTORY

Asanteman, founded in the 1670s by Osei Tutu I and Okomfo Anokye, was a powerful, highly centralized Akan empire in modern-day Ghana, renowned for its military strength, gold wealth, and the Golden Stool (Sika Dwa). Centered in Kumasi, it expanded from 1701 to 1901, defying British colonial power before becoming a cultural state.
