ASANTEMAN
Video Gallery
The Asanteman UK video gallery is a collection of videos from UK and Ghana, displayed together, allowing users to browse and play them easily. They include videos of events such as Akwasidae, and organised events such as the sanitation project and more.
Our programs help young people build essential skills and cultivate personal strengths, enabling them to become independent, responsible, and active members of society.
By fostering a supportive environment, we empower young people to reach their full potential and take on leadership roles within their communities.
Asanteman, founded in the 1670s by Osei Tutu I and Okomfo Anokye, was a powerful, highly centralized Akan empire in modern-day Ghana, renowned for its military strength, gold wealth, and the Golden Stool (Sika Dwa). Centered in Kumasi, it expanded from 1701 to 1901, defying British colonial power before becoming a cultural state.
Our gallery showcases unforgettable moments from our workshops, concerts, festivals, and community events. Each image captures the spirit, artistry, and unity of our community, bringing Asanteman’s heritage to life.
