Donation To Manhyia Hospital Maternity Wing By Asanteman UK

The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, with support from Asanteman UK, has donated essential medical equipment and facility items worth GHC 110,400 to the Nana Konadu Yiadom III Maternity Block at Manhyia Government Hospital.

The donation includes 6 air conditioners, 5 hospital beds, a sterilizer, theatre lamp, office furniture, and more, all aimed at enhancing maternal and child healthcare.

This forms part of the Foundation’s continued efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in the Ashanti Region and beyond, following the commissioning of the 30-bed maternity block in April 2024. A true reflection of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s vision to support vital public institutions across Asanteman and Ghana.

Following the equipment donation worth GHC 110,400, the Asanteman UK made a Cash Donation of £7,000.00 to the Otumfuo Osei Tutu Foundation as part of its charitable activity in support of the Manhyia Hospital Maternity Wing. The donation was led by Nana Poku Ware (Asanteman UK hene) and Nana Afrah Gyama (Obaapanin of Asanteman UK and Benkumhemaa of Adanse-Akrokerri).
